As part of Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre's commitment to both the environment and its local community, the centre has launched two Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives in 2011.

The Think Planet Campaign will challenge the way that the centre, its retailers and its customers react with their environment. From reducing the amount of refuse committed to landfill, to making positive contributions to the local environment, the campaign aims to enable us to enjoy our environment for generations to come.

A shopping centre is nothing without the community it exists within. Think Local will see the centre reaching out to its shoppers and supporting community events and charities throughout the year.
As part of our community activities we have chosen Ealing Mencap as our charity of the year.

Ealing Mencap represents the interests of people with learning disabilities and their carers within the London borough of Ealing. They are a voluntary organisation which successfully combines committed volunteers and paid staff. They run a range of projects to help people with learning disabilities and their carers. Throughout the year Ealing Mencap will be joining us at the centre to raise funds. For more information about Ealing Mencap visit www.ealingmencap.org.uk
